I'mpossible in the Impossible

“But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” – Mark 10:27.
Many people see possible things with so much potential, but when they see something impossible, their first reaction would be to turn away. However, with God, God shrugs at the possible, but in the impossible, He is the apostrophe in I’mpossible. Scattered throughout the Word of God is God having many names and holy characteristics. Yet, many of them start with “I am”. God is the great I Am. “Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” – John 8:58. Therefore, if “I’m” means I am and God is the great I Am, then God is the I am possible in the impossible. Why does God find it better to work in the impossible rather than the possible? It is because it glorifies God and He shines brighter when He works in a way that man cannot. You should be more comfortable in the impossible than the possible because it is in the impossible where God moves the most and greatest. It is a perspective of how you see the impossible. Do you see it as an opportunity for God, or do you see it as a storm that cannot be passed through? So, if we are supposed to live a life trusting God in every step and every season regardless of whether we can see the outcome of it, wouldn’t it be more comfortable to be in the impossible where God shines the brightest rather than the possible? It defies all logic and any of the world’s sense, but that is simply how God works. The reason it defies all this logic is because rather than being in a place where you can trust yourself, your flesh, and circumstances; instead, you have to trust your Father in heaven that He will come through and be your Shepherd. Your Father in heaven is so much greater than anything on this earth.
“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” – Jeremiah 32:27. There is nothing too difficult for Him because He is above everything as He made everything. So, if things look impossible in your life, rather than letting it get you down, you should change your perspective to believe that God will work something beautiful that brings glory to Him. It might not be easy and usually isn’t at first but that is because you have to get rid of some flesh that’s making you doubt God’s potential. That’s the reason many people struggle with the impossible is because their trust is in their flesh which they can control and remains in the physical rather than God who is above this physical world because He is bigger than any circumstance. So, this leaves a question many people have, “What if God doesn’t work through the impossible in a certain scenario?” Are you sure that impossible scenario was where God wanted you to go, and if that is where God wanted you to go, then are you sure you did your part? First of all, sometimes the impossible remains impossible because that isn’t the road God wants you to go down. In a way, it is a form of His protection. Second of all, if you aren’t obedient in doing your part, then God won’t work through the impossible. Living for God isn’t just sitting around waiting for Him to move. Yes, there are times we have to wait on the Lord, but more times than not, it is the Lord waiting on us to finish our part. This is why it is crucial that you know the voice of the Lord so that you obey where He wants you to go and what your part is in the season.
“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.” – Isaiah 1:19.
It is there on that road of obedience that He makes the way in the impossible so that you may reach the good of the land. God won’t call you to an area and not make the way. The two biggest reasons you don’t go through that way He made is because you didn’t step through it by not doing your part, or you drifted to another direction. The story of Moses and the Israelites is a perfect example of God working in the impossible. From how God freed them from Egyptian slavery to God giving them an abundant land as He conquered the giants of the land with them. How a people bound to slavery conquered a land flowing with milk and honey because of God working in the impossible. If all this was possible without God, then how would this glorify God? It would merely be another story in history without any outstanding significance. However, the Israelites had no choice but to rely on God, or else they would perish. Even through all their disobedience and complaining, God still loved them beyond comprehension that He still provided for them and took care of them. As you walk your journey out, don’t complain and doubt like the Israelites. Don’t let fear convince you of that. Rather, let your journey with God be an example of how God works in the impossible and how anything is possible through simply trusting and believing in Him rather than any other circumstance.
“Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” – Mark 9:23.
So overall, God wants to know if you will simply give everything over to Him, especially the impossible situations in your life. It is then that He will work the greatest and most beautiful works of God. He is the I am possible in the impossible.
