The Lord's Thoughts About You

“How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with You.” – Psalms 139:17-18.
As from above in these verses, it is said that the Lord has more thoughts than there are grains of sand in this world. God has that many thoughts about each individual because of how much He values each person. There are so many grains of sand that they cannot be counted but each grain of sand is completely different and unique. Sure, some may be alike, but they will always be different. Just like a snowflake, there is always a difference in each grain of sand. Though they may look the same to us, when examined in detail, there are many differences. In the same way, God has so many thoughts yet each one He has about you is completely unique. It is astonishing and mouth-dropping that God, the King of kings and King over everything, would have that many precious thoughts about you. Just try to imagine that many thoughts about one individual. We cannot even think that many thoughts in our lifetime let alone about one person! That is just a mere scratch on the surface of how vast and deep His love is for you. One does not simply put that much thought into another without valuing them at such a great level that the mind cannot even comprehend it.
“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.” – Psalms 139:7-10.
Don’t try to flee from God. Don’t believe the lie that God doesn’t care about you or see you. There is no one else who loves you and cares about you more than God Himself. Don’t flee but rather run to Him because He is always thinking about you, and when you try to flee, He is always concerned with your well-being. If God enjoys and values thinking about you at such a great level, then how much greater does He enjoy and value actually spending time together with you? It cannot be described that is how much God loves to spend time with you. He gave up His own Son just to be able to connect with you and spend time walking together down the journey of your life. That is just a glimpse of how much He prizes that relationship with you. Don’t ever think for one split moment that He gets bored spending time with you. He is more bored waiting for you to actually go and spend time with Him. It doesn’t matter where you are at or when it is, you can be walking with Him in every scenario of life. Sometimes life can get so overwhelming that you don’t catch a moment to sit down with Him. That is where you include Him in your busy life until you can get a moment to take time and go sit down with Him. So overall, a grain of sand is so small yet is so abundant. The thoughts of the Lord might appear small, but they each contain more detail than you can imagine. The Lord cherishes every thought He has for you and counts each one of them. Not a thought goes past His mind without Him cherishing it and being aware of it. He knows and keeps track of every thought He has for you for He deems every thought about you worth remembering. Why? Because you are His treasure and His child.
